5 Winter FASHION TRENDS Worth Trying in 202
If you're counting down the days until the first snowfall and are searching for some really good fashion statement clothes for your wardrobe, you've landed at the ideal spot. Here, we rounded up five winter fashion trends that will be trending over this season.
#1 The Capes and the Poncho: This trend trying to claw its way into fashion. I love capes, they are so fun and easy to wear. Initially, capes were simply round pieces of cloth that were appended to the collar, but over time, they emerged into more complex styles. Poncho Capes came into lime lite after Christopher Bailey introduced Burberry's monogrammed style poncho in his Fall/Winter show. These were checked blanket-style poncho capes and became the most remarkable attention on the runway.
More than that they are so comfortable, you just kind of like put it on top and you're good to go. Amiw, Valentino, and Burberry have shown poncho's on their shows.
#2 Puffers: Andrew Luecke, a fashion historian and the co-author of the Cool: Style, Sound, and Subversion, a history of youth subcultures say that “A puffer’s shape and look are powerful, but also plain and almost spartan – and there’s power in riding that line.”
The clunky cool puffers come in various shapes, colors, and designs. Crazy long puffer jackets from Rick Owens, bulky ones from Roberto Cavalli show present them as a style statement.
3# Sorng Shoulders: The Strong or sometimes known as power shoulder was introduced in the '80s. The trend evolved so well and not it's not going out anytime soon. This is the statement thing people will think back. Whether it's an oversized suit or just a blouse with puffy sleeves. Puffy shoulders have more volume at the shoulder. There are also pointy shoulders in the trend. I personally adore this trend and I would say this style will suit all body types.
Stephanie Boey once said "Always trust in the power of a strong-shouldered garment—its solid silhouette will surely give you a boost of confidence. A pair of exaggerated shoulders exude assurance and tenacity, with the added grace of stoic poise."
4# Fury Trends: If you're living in a very cold climate it's very great, very warm, and cozy. There are plenty of furry textures in runways. If you're interested in accessories I saw many furry bags, scarfs, and even furry shoes too. I saw it on
Givenchy, Infendi Dolce Gabbana, and in so many runaways.
5# Oversized Blazers:
Introducing oversized blazers into your closet is one of the first steps we took towards welcoming gender-fluid fashion. What began as menswear, gradually won the heart of girls all over the world.
It is the ideal combination of style and comfort, also fuss-free and effortlessly taken our style game up several notches. Blazers are relaxing and have the potential to upgrade any outfit with less effort.
